Hi Paul, the kit was a great way to go. I just laid a slab on top of my retaining wall and assembled it from there. It was fun to build. The kit had almost everything l needed. Instructions were intuitive and straight forward to assemble. Functionally it works very well and certainly cranks out the heat and insulates very well for its size. I can cook pizzas of a night, load a bit of wood then easily fire up in the morning cook bacon on a hot plate. Although looks smaller than others, can easily churn out as many pizzas as you want as it cooks quickly. Very happy with the investment and would recommend Paul's product and service.
